The 8-gauge Oxygen-Free Copper Cable is a single conductor wire with 2000V (AC/DC), 105℃ PVC insulation that meets UL 758/UL 1581. Conductor material is mainly stranded copper (usually tin plated or oxygen free copper/OFC). It has passed VW-1/FT1 flame retardant tests and is highly flexible, oil-resistant, acid and alkali resistant, and UV resistant, making it particularly suitable for internal wiring in energy storage systems, especially for high-current and high-voltage applications. The 8AWG specification has a larger conductor cross-section, larger current carrying capacity and lower resistance, making it suitable for battery to busbar connections.
