Features of EPDM Wire
Excellent weather resistance and aging resistance
The EPDM molecular structure does not contain double bonds. It has extremely strong resistance to ultraviolet rays, ozone, and aging at high and low temperatures. In outdoor exposure to sunlight, rain, snow erosion or extreme temperature differences, it is unlikely to crack, harden or experience performance degradation. Its service life can be 3 to 5 times that of ordinary rubber wires and is suitable for long-term outdoor installation.
Wide temperature adaptation range
It can operate stably within a wide temperature range of -50℃ to +150℃. Even in low-temperature environments, it maintains good flexibility and will not be affected by freezing and cracking during power-on; in high-temperature environments, the insulation layer is not prone to softening or deformation, meeting the usage requirements for high-temperature equipment or areas with severe cold.
Excellent resistance to chemical corrosion
It has good tolerance to acidic, alkaline, salt solutions, detergents and some organic solvents (such as alcohols and ketones), and is not easily corroded or swollen. It is suitable for scenarios in chemical workshops, sewage treatment plants, agricultural irrigation equipment, etc. where corrosive media exist.
High electrical insulation strength
The EPDM material has high insulation resistance and low dielectric loss, which can effectively resist electrical breakdown. It can meet the insulation requirements for medium and high voltage wires. At the same time, it has excellent anti-arc performance, reducing the risks of leakage and short circuits, and enhancing the safety of electricity usage.
Excellent water resistance and moisture-proof properties
The molecular structure is dense and the water absorption rate is extremely low. Even when immersed in water for a long time, the insulation performance will not significantly deteriorate. It is suitable for use in underwater equipment, ship cables, and underwater pump wires, etc., in environments that are damp or exposed to water.
Good wear resistance and tear resistance
The physical mechanical properties are excellent. It is highly wear-resistant and has a higher tear resistance than ordinary rubber. In scenarios where cables are frequently moved, dragged, or rubbed against hard objects (such as industrial robot cables and mining equipment cables), the insulation layer is less likely to be damaged, and its stability is stronger.

Outdoor engineering and construction field
Suitable for street lighting circuits, outdoor surveillance wiring, DC cables of photovoltaic power stations, lightning protection leads for building exteriors, etc. Long-term exposure to sunlight, rain, and ozone does not cause the insulation layer to age or crack, ensuring stable power supply for outdoor equipment.
Industrial equipment and automation scenarios
It can be used as flexible conveyor cable for industrial robots, power lines for mining machinery, and control lines for metallurgical equipment. With the characteristics of wear resistance and tear resistance, it can cope with the working conditions where the equipment is frequently moved or dragged; it has a wide temperature range and can adapt to the high or low temperature working environments in the workshop.
Chemical and corrosive environments
The instrument and meter connection cables for chemical workshops, the power lines for acid and alkali solution transfer pumps, and the wiring for sewage treatment equipment. The resistance to acid, alkali and salt solutions can prevent the insulation layer from being corroded and swollen, thereby reducing the risk of leakage.
Shipbuilding and Oceanography Engineering
As for the wiring inside ships, the cables for marine platform equipment, and the power lines for underwater submersible pumps. It has excellent water resistance and moisture-proof properties. Even when exposed to seawater for a long time or submerged in water, it can maintain stable electrical insulation performance.
Select wires to match the install environment; tempered for outdoor or harsher environments.

Don't lay cables in soak conditions or highly chemically active areas, unless rated to do so.
